Escape Academy: Escape From Anti-Escape Island is downloadable content (DLC) for the award-winning puzzle game Escape Academy, developed by Coin Crew Games and published by iam8bit. As a remote Puzzle Designer on the game, I created original puzzle concepts, level layouts, design documentation, puzzle hints, and gameplay flow while collaborating remotely with artists, engineers, and the design team to deliver a polished commercial release.
Puzzle & Game Design
Designed original puzzles, gameplay mechanics, and level interactions that blended logical thinking, exploration, and storytelling into a cohesive player experience.
Playtesting & Iteration
Conducted playtests, analyzed player feedback, and refined puzzles to improve clarity, pacing, difficulty, and overall player satisfaction.
Design Documentation
Created detailed ideation decks, puzzle specifications, flowcharts, maps, and implementation documents that guided artists and engineers throughout development.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
Founded and operated the business, overseeing branding, website design, marketing, customer service, scheduling, maintenance, accounting, and daily operations.

Lasting Impact
Contributing to Escape Academy: Escape From Anti-Escape Island allowed me to translate years of real-world escape room design into the digital space. Working as part of a fully remote development team strengthened my skills in collaboration, design documentation, playtesting, and iterative puzzle design—skills that continue to shape every interactive experience I create.
